This often was in the way when trying to scroll down when they wanted to solely view listingsDifferentiate native listings from aggregate
These looked too similar and the user expected to see the listing on our website rather than a third party websiteBookmark listings
There wasn’t an obvious way to save listings from the search results page.Final Design
Conclusion
I learned through this experience that it’s often best to use features familiar to the user rather than reinventing the wheel. Early on I had considered using a flow similar to a quiz to match users. I found in my research that what users wanted was something more streamlined but with the ability to broaden and narrow their search. This led me to conclude to include what was absolutely essential, and to not lose site of the end user.
